Engineering Change Notification: 05/31/2022
This notice on May 31st 2022, is to inform you of a change to the following LCD products:
NHD-0216K3Z-NS(RGB)-FBW-V3
NHD-0216K3Z-NS(RGB)-FBW-V3-AJ
The backlight has been redesigned to improve the connection method for anode and cathode. The old backlight design used thru-hole LEDs with leads that wrapped around the PCB. New backlight design uses surface-mount LEDs, which are connected to the PCB using thru-hole leads.
The new version will be labeled with a different revision control number after the part number. See example below. The same revision control number may not apply for all models.
