Engineering Change Notification - NHD-C12832A1Z-FS(RGB)-FBW-3V: 9/1/26
This notice is to inform you of a change to the following COG display:
- NHD-C12832A1Z-FS(RGB)-FBW-3V
The backlight in this display has been redesigned to improve light uniformity. The new backlight design has a slightly higher current draw at typical driving conditions. A comparison of the backlight characteristics is shown below:

The updated design is backward compatible with platforms that supported the previous version. The new display backlight can be driven at the old supply current, but this may result in the backlight operating at less than maximum brightness.
The new display will be labeled with a different revision control number after the part number. See example below.
