Thanks for the reply. It ended up being a bad SD Card. A micro sd card did the trick.

NHD-4.3CTP-SHIELD-N Cannot load sample sketches with SD Card Images

I have the arduino shield on my MEGA 2560 arduino. I copy and paste all the SD contents to the root directory of the SD card for FT_App_Jackpot example sketch, but I am getting the following errors...
