NHD-1.69-160128G (Problem with white background)
Hello,
i have already written to support, but have not received an answer.
We use the NHD-1.69-160128G for our new medical sleep diagnostic product
and it works fine (with dark background).
But, if i try to use a white background color and draw something, like the time/date
or an icon, the white color is gray in the remaining areas (see attached image).
Only the areas whrere i draw are really white.
(The diagonal bars are from my phone camera)
Is it possible to solve this problem?
Is it a problem withe the driving / pre-charge current oder time?
The comments in the attached init function (seps525_init.pdf) maybe are not correct,
i just adjusted the values.

Hi,
Adjusting the pre-charge current will help to reduce this banding effect.
As all white horizontal lines draw the most current per line, the line's overall contrast will be affected by the image data added within each line.
The contrast may be more consistent by reducing the size of the white area, or by using a gray line for background to eliminate this effect.
