NHD-3.5-320240FT-CSXN-T not responding to touch

I have been using  NHD-3.5-320240FT-CSXV-CTP (capacitive) in the past which is now obsolete. Hence switched to NHD-3.5-320240FT-CSXN-T (resistive). I changed the command in file FT_Platform.h from #define FT_813_ENABLE to #define FT_812_ENABLE to account for a different controller/driver. The screen comes up but does not recognize the touch. Is there anything I am missing?
