ST7789V and ST7789VI compatibility

Hello,

In current project I am using a display with ST7789V driver. Is the display with ST7789VI driver compatible with the simple "V" driver?

  The ST7789VI is compatible with the earlier version ST7789V.
  
  The updates are listed in the revision history on page 316 of the ST7789VI datasheet. 
  The original ST7789V was revised up to version V1.3 and the ST7789VI was released as V1.4 with a minor update.

  Hello,
  
  Thank you for prompt feedback. I have finaly found out, that my current display driver is not ST7789V as I mentioned in last post, but it is ST7789V2. I assume it is a successor of ST7789VI, if I am right. Are those drivers also compatible between each other?

  I am not too familiar with using the ST7789V2 version but it is very possible that they are compatible.
  More information on the ST7789V2 can be found here: https://www.sitronix.com.tw/en/products/display-driver-ic/
  
  Testing with your specific code is always recommended to confirm compatibility.
