NHD-4.3-480272EF-ATXL
Hi, I'm new to this so please forgive a potentially silly question.
I'm using a pi-pico to talk to the ST7282T2 driver for the TFT display. I have it working via the parallel interface but I'd like to change it to serial. The ST7282T2 data sheet says I need to pull PARA_SERI low - however it doesn't appear that pin is exposed in the FPC Pin Out. Am I misunderstanding something, or is this panel/controller hard wired to be only parallel?
Thanks very much in advance!

Hello,
Thank you for the interest in our NHD-4.3-480272EF-ATXL display. The display is hard wired internally for 24-bit RGB. If you are looking for a display that uses SPI, I would recommend looking into our EVE2 TFTs as they interface with SPI/D-SPI/Q-SPI.

Hi - I have a couple of follow up questions...
Can I use DE Mode timing (no SYNC) or am I required to use SYNC-DE mode or SYNC mode (no DE). The ST7282T2 supports all three but from my understanding it looks like it's hard wired to only do SYNC-DE or SYNC. Can you confirm or correct me?
Also on https://www.newhavendisplay.com/specs/NHD-4.3-480272EF-ATXL.pdf it shows the HSYNC pulse width as being 1 DCLK however on the controller datasheet https://www.newhavendisplay.com/resources_dataFiles/datasheets/LCDs/ST7282T2.pdf it shows HSYNC pulse width as min 2 DCLK and typical 4 DCLK. I assume it should be 4 and the first sheet is incorrect?
Many thanks in advance!0 -
I'm trying to build an application on NHD-4.3CTP-SHIELD-L . But the application I'm building will be Portrait mode. And all the examples I have seen so far related to this screen are in landscape mode.
How can I achieve portrait mode in this screen?
Thanks in advance0
