EMI and isolation of NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-CTP display.
Hello,
We try to incorparate a NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-CTP display into one of our instruments.
The instrument is mains-powered and utilizes a metal case. The metal case is connected to PE (protective earth) and isolated from internal circuitry by at least 500V due to safety regulations.
I notice that the bezel - as shipped - is floating and that mounting-holes are floating too with optional jumpers providing
a very short clearance distance.
What is the recommended way of connecting the bezel: connect to circuit-ground or connect to case/PE - ground?
Do you test isolation during production? If yes, which isolation voltage do you test for?
Best Regards
Norman

Hi Norman,
The front bezel can be grounded to the metal chassis and isolated from electrical ground to help prevent ground loops in your system.
We ESD test this display with the following parameters:
Air: 8kV, 150pF, 330Ω, 5 times
Contact: 4kV, 150pF, 330Ω, 5 times
