NHDev Screen transitions
The transitions from Image to image are slow and in kind of a wiping action. Is this due to the implementation of the SW on the NHDev board or due to a HW speed limitation with the display itself.
I tested a NHD-2.4-240320CF-CTXI which is a 8-bit MCU interface.
I'm wondering what an transition looks like "full-speed". Can the average eye notice it or does it appear instantaneous.
I have experience with a 7" TFT with a RGB interface where the display controller/display memory in on our board.
Thanks

The NHDev board is reading an image file off of the SDCard each time the button is pushed to transition to the next image. This is a slow process and therefore you will see the transition.
Depending on the micro-controller you select for your own display interface, the image transition speed will be affected by it's performance writing images to the display buffer memory.
Typically the display can refresh at 60Hz so you normally would not see any transition if you write to the buffer fast enough.
