Increase sampling rate using FocalTech controller FT6236
Hi,
I'm trying to know if it is possible to retrieve touch events at a higher sampling rate using FT6236.
The datasheet states it should be possible to go up to 100 Hz but I don't know what value to use in the PERIODACTIVE register.
The default value of PERIODACTIVE is 12, what is the corresponding rate? 60 Hz?
What is the accepting range for PERIODACTIVE ?
For example, in the datasheet of FT5x06 CTP it clearly states PERIODACTIVE values range from 3 to 14, default 12... But I can't find the same information for FT6236.
Thank you
Best Regards

Hi Ingrid,
The Focaltech FT6236 datasheet appears to only show registers available in "Working Mode".
If there is a register available for setting PERIODACTIVE, then it may only be accessible in "Factory Mode".
In which case it can only be programmed as a default value during the initial factory programming.
