CS for NHD-3.5-320240MF
We are evaluating the NHD-3.5-320240MF for a new product. We want to use the 8-bit parallel mode, but we are confused on what to use for the Chip Select [CS] for the Display. There is the Data Enable pin [DEN] but that is apparently a no connect. What do we use so we know that the right data is on the bus at the right time?

Hi,
If you would like to use the NHD-3.5-320240MF display with 8-bit parallel, I would recommend using an external TFT controller such as the NHD-3.5-320240MF-20 Controller Board.
The display is defaulted to Sync mode so the data-enable signal would not be necessary. However you would need to provide a minimum of 16 bits for the color data along with the H-Sync and V-Sync signals.
The chip select signal will activate the bus so that you could write to the display.0 -
Thank you.
