DE mode for NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXL#-T

Can the NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXL#-T display be operated in DE mode, ignoring V and H sync?  If so, do I tie V and H sync high or low?

The HX-8264 controller has a pin to select DE mode or SYNC mode, but your datasheet does not indicate which mode is enabled.

  Hi Jack,
  
  By default the display is already in DE mode, to put the display into Sync mode, you would need to short the R4 jumper on the FPC below the display.

  Thanks for the information.  We prefer DE mode because we are using our own custom FPGA graphics controller and DE mode permits eliminating a lot of blanking time and therefore a lower clock frequency.
  
  Is there any documentation of the R4 jumper?  I couldn't find it on the datasheet.
