2.4inch LCD module viewing angle

I have a physical height limit of about 44mm, and was considering using the NHD-2.4-240320CF-CSXN#-F module but rotate it 90. The spec sheet says "grey scale inversion: 12 o'clock" - what kind of viewing angle are we talking about before that becomes noticeable?

Alternatively, are there other displays with the connector on the side (to maximize my vertical active area) that are sunlight readable?

edit - looks like there's more discussion about similar displays on the TFT forum, but I haven't figured out how to move the post from the graphical lcd forum...

  Hi,
  
  The 2.4" TFT has an optimal 65° Viewing Angle in all directions. The 12 o'clock grayscale inversion shouldn't be an issue until you go past that.
  
  Unfortunately we do not have any other displays that will match your height limit. Our other TFTs are much larger.
