Using NHD-1.8 Displays with a FFC connector
Hi,
im currently designing a PCB which will connect to several NHD-1.8 displays. I have to make the connection between the display and the PCB myself, and i don't have equipment to do hot-bar soldering. My initial plan was to use a normal FFC connector instead, but it seems that the 0.8mm pitch of the displays FFC is non standard.
Are there any FFC connectors available that are known to work with the NHD-1.8 FFC?

Hello Mark,
Unfortunately there are no standard ZIF / FFC connectors for the 0.8mm pitch connector, these would have to be soldered directly to the pcb.
We do offer the 1.8" TFTs with a FFC style connector, such as the NHD-1.8-128160EF-CSXN#-F0
