Differences between NHD-5.0-800480TF-ATXL and NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXN

I am working on interfacing both the NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXN and the NHD-5.0-800480TF-ATXL to a PIC32MZ DA microcontroller.  I am using the PIC onboard graphics controller and have been able to successfully display images on the NHD-7.0.  It seems it would be a relatively simple process to make the NHD-5.0 work on the same interface with a few small timing adjustments, but I cannot get anything recognizable to display on it.  Only a some noisy grayscale garbage.  Is there a significant difference between the two that I am overlooking.  I have played with the timing quite a lot with no success. 

Hope someone here has an idea.

  Try changing the pixel clock polarity for the 5" TFT to see if that resolves this issue.
