Connect NHD2.4-240320CF to ARM M0

I'm a little confused by the wiring diagram provided. How am I supposed to connect the pins to an ARM M0 (Specifically https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/stmicroelectronics/STM32F030C8T6TR/497-17331-1-ND/7650387 and this TFT: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/newhaven-display-intl/NHD-2.4-240320CF-CTXI-F/NHD-2.4-240320CF-CTXI-F-ND/5209660 ) Do I just connect CS, DC, WR, RD, DB0 to DB15 and RES to GPIOs?

Using the GPIO pins would be the correct way to connect the NHD-2.4-240320CF-CTXI#-F display to the ARM micro. If you only use 8-bit parallel mode, connect the data pins DB8 to DB15 in order to save some GPIO pins for the other connections.
