I have a custom board based on spark fun pro micro with the NHD-1.8 display. Display doesnt even turn on
1) I see the custom board has RST connected to the system reset and not an output from processor
2) pin 11 is grounded (3 wire spi mode), but dc line is hooked to processor output (can i possible set it to low from processor?)
3) Anode LED is connected to a 3.3V from processor via a Transistor switch, LED K1,LED K2 (cathode) is connected to GND)
4) 3.3V Power is connected to display via another transistor switch (pin 2/3)
I use the standard setup code for arduino with the relevant pin changes, display doesn't even turn on. looking at power on sequence on page 11 of the spec and setup example code in spec , without RST setup from the code, do i have a hardware problem here even to turn on the display?
