    Hi Patricio,

The I2C pins 6 and 7 on the 40 pin FPC cable are for reading the Extended Display Identification Data or (EDID) that is programmed into our display and is separate from the I2C for the capacitive touchscreen.
The EDID data contained in the display allows a microcontroller to read and identify the display's parameters including it's resolution, timing requirements, and color characteristics.

The 6 pin CTP cable can be made longer, or it can be extended using our NHD-CTP6 interface board https://newhavendisplay.com/breakout-board-for-capacitive-touchscreens-6-pin-ffc/

AN I2C cable at 30cm long should work ok depending again on the environment.
Using pull up resistors and twisted pair cable to extend the length is a good option to help reduce noise.   As always, experiment with a prototype to confirm proper operation with your design.

Hello, I want to order an NHD-CTP6 interface board with extra I2C cables but I don't know if you are shipping products to Europe. Before I was getting them shipped to the US but I'm staying at my property in Costa Blanca and I need them to be shipped here. Is it possible?
