Max Voltage on NHD-0108CZ-FSW-GBW-33V3
The maximum / min VDD voltage on the NHD-0108CZ-FSW-GBW-33V3 isn't specified. Is is possible to power this display directly off a lithium ion battery (4.2V) when fully charged? If not is there another LCD that would work? Trying to remove a power supply if possible. What if VDD was 3.0V, would the display work?
Thanks,
Kevin

We cannot guarantee reliable operation, nor do we test our displays, at levels higher or lower than what is shown in the spec. However, the display will most likely operate at those levels (the backlight should not be over-driven). You may order a sample to test it with your supply to see if it works for you if you like. But, since you are interested in using a battery for the supply, have you looked at any of our character COG displays? They draw less current, and can some can be used at those levels.
