NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-CTP Startup Sequence
I am working with a NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-CTP display and am attempting to boot it up using the instructions from the programmers guide. I have provided the necessary power to the board and am following this sequence:
1. Driving PD_N high
2. waiting 200 ms
3. Following the initialization sequence (attached to this post) via SPI communication
(I am using an MSP430 as master and the display as slave)
I am not able to see the display boot up, so my question is are there any steps for boot up that I am missing for this particular LCD TFT controller?
Thanks for any help!
Try adjusting the your values to the table below and let me know if you see improvement.
So I believe I am getting stuck beforehand. After I run the commands:
I try to read the REG_ID register to verify that it is 0x7C. However my read is returning FF instead. What could that mean?0
Does the LCD expect a certain clock phase/polarity by default when using an external clock?0
Please check out https://brtchip.com/softwareexamples-eve/ for EVE Framework. The BRT_AN_025 - Portable EVE Library has the application notes and source code that should be able to communicate with the FT813 IC.
However you there is a problem accessing the links so it may be worth contacting Bridgetek to see if they can provide and information on the notes and code.0
