nhd-c0220biz-fsw-fbw-3v3m Backlight Issue

Hey,

I am using the nhd-c0220biz-fsw-fbw-3v3m display and when designing my PCB I accidently tied the A and K pins both to ground. This means the backlight won't turn on so I was wondering if the display could still work without a backlight.

  The LCD screen that you have (NHD-C0220BiZ-FSW-FBW-3V3M) is a transflective display meaning it's both reflective and transmissive. Without the backlight it becomes purely a reflective display and will need surrounding ambient light to be able to see.
