JHD629-204A || Display failure in ESD test

Hello Support Team,

We are using the JHD204A LCD module in one of our products, and the display is functioning properly under normal operating conditions.

Our ESD compliance requirement is ±7 kV Contact Discharge and ±8 kV Air Discharge. The LCD panel is mounted inside a closed enclosure and is located close to the metal chassis.

We are currently facing an issue during ESD testing. When contact discharge is applied to the enclosure screws and other metal parts, and when air discharge is applied in the vicinity of the LCD, the display is failing(Characters are going off).

Could you please clarify whether the JHD629-204A M12 and JHD629-204A M14 LCD module has been ESD qualified? If so, kindly provide the ESD test level and standard to which it has been tested.

Additionally, if you have any recommendations or application notes for improving ESD immunity in this type of installation, please share them with us.
