I have two NHD-2.8-240320AF-CSXP-F Rev 1A modules that I purchased some time ago.

I noticed a new datasheet for the product where support for the 3/4-wire SPI interface has been added.

Since the built-in controller appears to be the same (ST7789VI) and apparently the FPC exposes all the display pins, is it possible to connect the Rev 1A displays using the SPI interface?

  Hi Luis,

  Unfortunately, the older Rev1A display does not have the SPI pins available in the pinout, even if they are using the same IC. If you are planning to use SPI, you would need to get the Rev1B display.
