Thank you for the queries that you sent.

The NHD-4.3-480272FT-CSXP-CTP display is the direct replacement to the EOL display with only the following differences.

    • The typical drive current for the LED backlight driver has increased due to the change in driver IC even though they are reverse compatible. You may not need to change anything on your end but will have an option to increase the brightness if necessary. Please refer to the following transition guide for more information on this transition - https://newhavendisplay.com/content/docs/4.3IPS-TFT_TransitionGuide.pdf

Even though the displays are compatible, I will still recommend you get a sample display to test for your application to minimize any issues.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply, Sir.

    We truly appreciate your support.

We just need a few more clarifications on some critical points:

    1. Can we use the existing software and initialization code developed for the CTXL version with the CSXP version without any modifications?

    2. Are there any changes in the register map or initialization sequences from a programming point of view?

    3. Since we have already developed the software for the CTXL display, will the CSXP version function identically when initialized using the same code?

Additionally, if the CSXP version requires different initialization or software changes, could you please suggest a display model that is fully compatible with the CTXL version at the software level?

Your guidance on this will help us proceed confidently with our development and procurement.

    Best regards,
    Balu
