Is it possible to use RGB565 16-bit interface?

  Hello,

  The driver on this display supports 24-bit and 18-bit, but does not natively support 16-bit (RGB565).  A possible workaround would be to follow the setup for 18-bit interface and pad the RGB565 data to RGB666 by shifting the 5-bit red and blue components left by one bit (adding a 0 to the LSB) while keeping the 6-bit green component unchanged. The unused lower bits (Dx[1:0]) should be tied to VSS as recommended in the datasheet.
