Porch values of NHD-3.5-640480EF-MSXP-CTP

Hi all,

I'm looking at using one of Newhaven's displays NHD-3.5-640480EF-MSXP-CTP, but I can't find information about porch values anywhere. The display datasheet itself doesn't say anything, which isn't surprising, but the the driver datasheet that I found for FL7703NI also doesn't list min/typ/max values, just some information about internal use registers. Does anyone know where I can find the right numbers?

  Please refer to the below porch parameters for this display.

  • Horizontal Sync Width: 120
  • Horizontal Back Porch: 120
  • Horizontal Active: 640
  • Horizontal Front Porch: 120
  • Vertical Sync Width: 5
  • Vertical Back Porch: 18
  • Vertical Active: 480
  • Vertical Front Porch: 25

  Apologies, one other query on this. What is the acceptable range of pixel clocks that this display will be able to handle?

  Hi Richard,

  We recommend using a pixel clock frequency of 31.2MHz for this display.
