NHD-C0220BiZ-FSW-FBW-3V3M Backlight LED Not Illuminating

I cannot get any light from the backlight LED. The ohmmeter shows an open circuit in both directions between A and K. Do I have a defective device? If so, how do I exchange it.

Thanks so much. I think my A/C chiller has one of these displays, and it works great, just what I want for my project.

  When the display is powered what is the voltage between between A and K it should be around 3V(+ -0.2V).
