Use of Timing characteristics in the initialization code of the display

I'm using the lcd_NHD-2.4-240320SF-CTXI-FT1 of Newhaven display and I have a doubt that why there are no delays in it's initialization code given in it's datasheet.

  There are 2 delays in the initialization routine in the datasheet.  They are at the beginning and are required for issuing a hard reset.  Additional delays throughout the rest of the routine are not required.
