NHD-1.69-160128ASC3 with SEPS525 - MEMORY_WRITE_MODE not working

I can't get my display to start writing pixels from the top left corner to the top right corner and I've tried all the settings for BIT0-BIT2
I'm currently stuck with pixels being written up or down ie.
bottom left to the top right and across, from left to right
top right to the bottom right and across, from left to right
top right to the bottom right and across from right to left
bottom right to the top right and across from right to left

The horizontal setting don't seem to have any impact, does anyone know how to get this working? I'm looking at SEPS525 Version: 0.6

  Just increased the SPI speed from 4us (250k bits) to .25us (8Mbs) and now it seems to recognize the register settings for display mode
