NHD-2.4-240320CF-CSXN#-F support from ARM processors
Hi folks,
I am asking about the "8080" style parallel 8 and 16 bit interface displays such as:

Hi Ihab,
Unfortunately the ST7789V controller on the NHD-2.4-240320CF-CSXN#-F display does not support a DMA transfer directly to it's frame buffer. An 8-bit or 16-bit 8080-II parallel MCU interface is required to send commands and data to the display. Please see the ST7789V datasheet for more details. https://support.newhavendisplay.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/4414880310423/ST7789V.pdf

Thank you very much! This is not a direct Newhaven question -- I was just unable to find information from the ARM system integrators, and I wondered if you happened to have encountered this. What I was looking for was something on the ARM micro side which would treat the GPIOs of the processor as an 8-bit data bus, and do DMA from program memory to the GPIOs at high speed.
