    Hi,

The initialization process that occurs after reset does leave the display OFF.

You would need to turn it on.I would also recommend repeating the initialization that occurs after the reset if you're just booting the display up for the first time.

Yes, alphanumeric displays typically require initialization code to set them up properly before they can display messages correctly. This initialization code usually involves configuring parameters such as the communication protocol (parallel or serial mode), setting the display brightness, specifying the number of characters or segments, and other relevant settings.

Without proper initialization, the display may not work as expected, or it may not work at all. Therefore, it's essential to ensure that you have included the necessary initialization code in your program before attempting to display messages on the alphanumeric display.

If you've followed the instructions for connections and chronograms for both parallel and serial modes but are still encountering issues, double-check your initialization code to ensure that it's correctly setting up the display according to its specifications. Additionally, make sure that your connections are secure and that there are no hardware issues customer satisfaction and feedback portal causing the problem.

If you continue to experience difficulties, referring to the documentation provided with the alphanumeric display or seeking assistance from the manufacturer or online communities specializing in electronics and displays can be helpful in troubleshooting and resolving the issue.
