spi requirements for NHD-1.8-128160EF-SSXN-F

Hello,
If iam using 4 wire spi would it need constant data being sent to the screen module to display my data,or can i only send the display data once then when i need to change the display data i pull its chip select and send the new display data to it and the module keeps it in memory?Hopefully i explained this right let me know if i didnt.

  Hi Ton88,
  
  You are correct.  The data is sent to the display's memory buffer where it is stored to be written continuously to the screen.
  This data will continue to be displayed until new data is written to the display's memory buffer.
