NHD-2.4-240320CF-CSXN#-F backlight
Hello,
I have some doubts regarding NHD-2.4-240320CF-CSXN#-F datasheet notes.
6. Backlight: White LED / 3.1V / 100 mA ( Typ )
3.1V means:
a) backlight LEDs forward voltage ?
or
b) expected backlight source voltageĀ ?
I assume this means LED forward voltage.
Then, when powering backlight from 5V source the current limiting resistor should be (5V-3.1V) / 100mA = 19 ohms
Is that right ?
Thank you

Hi,
You are correct. The LED forward voltage or VLED is 3.1V.
A 19 Ohm resistor will provide 100mA of current when a supply voltage of 5v is used to power the backlight and produce the 3.1VLED.
